Doctrinal Foundation

DECLARATION OF FAITH

a. God: There is one true God, eternally existent in three Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God is the Maker and Preserver of all things, visible and invisible.

b. The Lord Jesus Christ: We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virginal birth, His perfect life, His redemptive death, His bodily resurrection, His present exaltation at the right hand of the Father and His personal return.

c. The Holy Spirit: We believe in the deity and person of the Holy Spirit, who works in men and empowers them. He enables men to live a life of holiness and fruitful service.

d. The Scriptures: The whole canon of Scripture, the Old and New Testaments, as originally given, is inspired and authoritative, and of supreme and final authority in all that it teaches and declares.

e. Man: Man was created in the image of God and for fellowship with Him, but through the sin of our father, Adam, sin came into the world and separated man from his holy Creator. Because Adam was in sin and separated from God, his offspring are born in the same state. They are therefore estranged from God and under His wrath. However, Jesus Christ, being sinless, took the place of sinful man and suffered the divine consequences and judgment on sin so that man's relationship with his Creator can be fully restored. Through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, man can be set free from God’s judgment and be born into eternal life.

f. The Church: We believe the Church is made up of every true believer who has been born again, and that the mission of all believers here on earth, with Christ as our Head, is to be priests who stand before both God and men. As priests, we stand before God to praise and love Him, and we stand before men to share with them the gospel of salvation.

g. The Resurrection: We believe in the resurrection of all who are dead. Every person who is saved will receive eternal life in the presence of Christ and every person who is not saved will receive eternal condemnation in the lake of fire.

h. The Second Coming of Christ: Jesus Christ will return to gather His Church to Himself, to set up His Kingdom, and to judge all men. All who are in Christ will enjoy eternal blessedness, but all the impenitent will suffer everlasting punishment. We believe that although the truths concerning the second coming of the Lord and the end are important, any doctrinal differences or errors in these particular areas will not cause a person to lose their soul. These differences should not serve as a basis or reason to exclude any believer from the Body of Christ or fellowship within it.

Dios es el Creador y Sustentador de todas las cosas, visibles e invisibles. b) El Señor Jesucristo: creemos en la deidad del Señor Jesucristo, su nacimiento virginal, vida perfecta, su muerte redentora, su resurrección corporal, su exaltación presente a la diestra del Padre, y su regreso personal. c) El Espíritu Santo: creemos en la deidad y persona del Espíritu Santo, quien obra en los hombres, y los capacita para poder vivir una vida de santidad y servicio fructífero. d) Las Escrituras: todo el canon de la Escritura, el Antiguo y el Nuevo Testamento, tal como fue dado originalmente, es inspirado por Dios, y es la autoridad suprema y final en todo lo que enseña y declara. e) El hombre: fue creado a la imagen de Dios, para que tuviera comunión con Él; pero a través de la desobediencia de nuestro padre Adán, el pecado entró en el mundo y separó al hombre de su Creador santo. Debido a que Adán pecó, y fue separado de Dios, su descendencia nace en ese mismo estado. Por tanto, todos los descendientes de Adán han sido separados de Dios, y están bajo su ira. Sin embargo, Jesucristo, siendo sin pecado, tomó el lugar del hombre pecador y sufrió las consecuencias y juicios divinos sobre el pecado, para que la relación del hombre con su Creador pudiera ser plenamente restaurada. A través del arrepentimiento y de la fe en Jesucristo, el hombre puede ser librado del juicio de Dios, y nacer a la vida eterna. f) La Iglesia: la Iglesia está formada por todos los creyentes verdaderos que han nacido de nuevo, y la misión de todos los creyentes sobre la tierra, con Cristo como nuestra cabeza, es ser sacerdotes delante de Dios y de los hombres. Como sacerdotes, estamos delante de Dios para alabarlo y amarlo, y estamos delante de los hombres para compartir con ellos el evangelio de salvación. g) La resurrección: creemos en la resurrección de todos los muertos. Toda persona que sea salva recibirá vida eterna en la presencia de Cristo, y todo aquel que no sea salvo recibirá condenación eterna en el lago de fuego. h) La segunda venida de Cristo: Jesucristo retornará para reunir para Sí a Su Iglesia, para instaurar Su Reino, y para juzgar a todos los hombres. Todos los que están en Cristo disfrutarán la bendición eterna, pero todos los impenitentes sufrirán el castigo eterno. Aunque las verdades en cuanto a la segunda venida de Cristo y el tiempo del fin son importantes, ni las diferencias ni los errores doctrinales en cuanto a estos temas harán que una persona pierda su alma. Esas diferencias no debieran servir como base o razón para excluir del Cuerpo de Cristo a un creyente, o excluirlo del compañerismo.

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it
to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She put the shell to her ear and screamed.

There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.

She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
