Ministerial Board

A ministerial board presides over Hebron Ministries.  This board is currently made up of approximately eight ministers that meet together on a regular basis. The members of this board come from various denominational backgrounds as well as different countries.  Although a person does not become a spiritual elder in God’s sight merely because he has lived for many years, God does honor those who are older if they have chosen to walk in His ways.  Proverbs 16:31 (NKJV) tells us: “The silver-haired head is a crown of glory, if it is found in the way of righteousness.” We are thankful that the Lord has joined a group of mature ministers to preside over Hebron Ministries.  The average age of Hebron’s board members is 50 years, and some of its members have been in the ministry for over 40 years. Due to the fact that one of Hebron Ministries' goals is to be an influence that brings more unity between ministers of different Christian denominations, we have avoided becoming another denomination ourselves.  We have done so in order to avoid building more walls that tend to divide the Church.  The fellowship of churches that walk with Hebron Ministries does not function like a denomination, since in fact, it is not a denomination.  Hebron Ministries places an emphasis on the importance of being an organism.  Hebron's board considers itself to be among the pastors, rather than being over each pastor and being the owner of each church and its properties and buildings.  Like the nucleus of a cell, it helps each part of the cell to grow and flourish, but at the same time, each part of the cell is helping the nucleus to do the same.  The only tie that binds Hebron to each pastor is a tie based on mutual love and respect.  We seek relationships with other pastors based on unfeigned love of the brethren.  The desire of Hebron Ministries is to follow the example of the apostle Paul when he urged others to be fellow laborers in the Lord’s work (Phil. 4:3). Hebron’s board members are well aware of the fact that we do not have all the answers.  We seek God’s grace to make any necessary changes that must be made in our doctrine or in the way this ministry operates in the light of the Bible.  We urge each and every pastor to help us find the Lord’s way.  In fact, we also urge the sheep of any congregation to please point out any errors they might find in Hebron Ministries in light of the Scriptures.  Paul wrote to the church in Corinth (2 Cor. 10:8-11) about the authority that the Lord had given him.  Hebron´s hope is that any measure of authority invested in our leaders would come from heaven and not from the governments of this world.

Junta Ministerial
